About Arentine Designs

Marie Adkins, owner and design director of Arentine Designs, has spent 25 years perfecting the art of window coverings. Selling fabrics in a specialty store allowed her to take her love of textiles to a new level, and introduced her to window treatments. A lifetime of working with a broad range of fabrics gives her the knowledge base to guide her clients in their fabric selections. Techniques from garments are carried over into her window coverings so that like a good garment, the inside looks as good as the outside.

Each treatment at Arentine Designs is truly a custom creation. Every detail is important to the process – whether it’s a measurement, where the trim is to be placed or the direction a stripe will run, it is all considered. We want to streamline the process and make it as smooth as we can. We measure, quote yardage, specify hardware, select fabric, refine the design, fabricate the treatments and install them.
